It is a bittersweet moment. His tail is raised, yet drooping. He absently gnaws a leg in contemplation.

Sweet indeed. Has Hallmark seen this?

I don't know why I wrote it. It was a great picture, but it needed a backstory even (or especially) an obviously fake one.
