we got a kitty condo thing off freecycle.
and it's HUGE. took us forever to get it in the car!
it's 3 stories tall. handmade, covered in carpet. not the prettiest thing, but chai loves it! :)

the boys found that game (with ALL the pieces, which is rare) at the thrift store for $1. they had a $1 sale on saturday. clothes, shoes, purses, stuff...

and since he likes to lay by the sliding glass door, that's where i put it :)

last night, in the floor, below where i was sitting on the couch, the 2 buddies were sleeping together..

and right now, they are right beside me in the floor, sleeping while i work..

peppy with his little pony tail.
he has an appointment tuesday. he's gonna get cut ALL OVER (ears and tail too)..i'm thinking 1/4 - 1/2 inch.
i haven't been brushing him like i needed to and his fur has gotten matted up under his chin, on his legs and tail.

someone posted a pic of their dog on the shihtzu community. they keep their dog's fur cut short all the time...and it seems like a good idea, although i know peppy will look SO funny after being so fluffy!

awww...look! they are sleeping beside each other! :)

a couple of weeks ago, they could NOT rest if they were in the room together.
