nearby tornado (a couple of counties west of us) caught on surveillance. the name of the store is s & m equipment. *giggle*
thankfully, it didn't hit here, but we had some bad weather just south of here. the sirens went off, but we are fine.

jason and i were about to go to bed last night and we heard music playing. we couldn't figure out where it was coming from.
jason opened the front door and it was coming from the apartment behind us where 9 hispanic guys live. (idunno if there are really 9, but it seems like it).
they were having a party with their door open. i should have walked by their door!

it was funny to us. maybe we're the only ones who still thinks it is!

my turtle has been doing something weird!
we'll put our eye right up against his tank and he'll come and put his face right up against our eye and hold his arms out like the turtle in this video:

but, after his arms are out like that, he'll tap his claws together really fast (faster than the in the vid)...almost like a vibration.

what is he doing??
we've gotten close to him like that before, but he just started doing this yesterday.

well, saturday at the big spring jam was nice. (well, except for me wanting to kick some gothy teenage butt) (oh, and sometimes, when you try too hard to be goth, it just looks ridiculous...a little goth goes a long way, kids...keep that in mind. i know..i've been there)

our oldest child rocks.

aaron and his friend decided to shoot a video. they did it all by themselves. they did have a tiny bit of help from jason on the uploading part, but other than that...they did it all.

if i had known he was doing it (i was in the bedroom cleaning up), i would have at least moved that huge box of sweet potatoes!

they did it with the webcam, so the quality is pretty bad.

we have a neat idea for a daily or at least a few times a week for a very short youtube vid.
literally, like 15-20 seconds in length. you'll know about it if/when we do it...and i hope we do!


speaking of youtube & videos...

is there a good FREE program we can use to edit (add titles, music, cut, etc) our videos with? thanks.

btw, we can't use windows movie maker. it will not work with our sony camera. our camera makes some sort of special mpeg2 file.
